Negan's victim was revealed to be Abraham. So, with Abraham dead, why did Negan kill Glenn and not one of the other survivors? Negan killed Glenn to make a further example, because of Daryl — who retaliated in anger to Abraham's death. Daryl's outburst irritated Negan, so he killed Glenn as well.

He Joined The Whisperers (Not Redeemed)

"I am so sorry for what I took from you. What I took from your son," Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) told Maggie (Lauren Cohan) on The Walking Dead's series finale.
In tears, Daryl says he's sorry and admits that he still believes it was his fault that Negan killed Maggie's husband, Glenn. They console each other and hug, subsequently breaking the internet.
Through tears, Cohan noted that Glenn's final words — “I will find you” — was meant to illustrate that Maggie and Glenn are “star-crossed lovers.” “Time and place doesn't erase that. [It means] I'll find you; I'll be with you; I'll watch over you and the baby; I'll be there,” she said.

There were way too many moments in the final season of The Walking Dead that appeared to set up a Maggie and Negan romance. Though their interactions occasionally turned somewhat hostile, beneath it all was a palpable sexual tension. Fortunately, The Walking Dead series finale put an end to that idea once and for all.

There Was Never Any Romance Between Negan and Maggie
Negan's love for Annie also confirms he was never making eyes at Maggie, meaning those hints of sexual chemistry earlier in The Walking Dead season 11 must've been misread.
In the series finale, Maggie allowed Negan and his pregnant wife, Annie, to remain part of the group.

The car accident left him with four screws in his nose and a titanium eye socket. Viewers have often seen Daryl with scrapes and black eyes, which are often real injuries Reedus has sustained on set. He has even fallen off his motorcycle and received other injuries during filming but stated, “It was very serious.
This episode features the final regular appearances of characters Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), who are both brutally killed by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Glenn's death is reminiscent of his death in the comic book series, where he is killed in virtually the same manner.
Was Glenn's death foreshadowed?
3 Glenn Sees His Fate
After being a prominent moment in the comics, Glenn's Season 7 fate was assumed by most and foreshadowed even more in the episodes before it. When Rick's group ambush a Savior outpost, Glenn is horrified to find polaroid photos of a random man with his head bashed in by Lucille.
Actress Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, shared her take during a live taping of Talking Dead following Sunday's intense episode. Cohan interprets Glenn's last words to mean, “In this life or the next,” according to Vanity Fair. “They're star-crossed lovers. 'I'll find you, I'll be with you, I'll watch over you.

Out of everyone in Rick's group, it was with Carl that Negan had the most interesting relationship. Whether it was because Carl was a kid or because he was never afraid of Negan, there was something about Rick's son that Negan always respected. But that didn't mean he was immune to Negan's insults.
The History of Swearing on The Walking Dead
Back in Season 9, Episode 4, "The Obliged," The Walking Dead seemed to have dropped its first F-bomb, but fans weren't entirely sure. It was spoken by Norman Reedus' spinoff-bound Daryl Dixon, who grunts and mumbles so much that it was difficult to hear.

In the television series adaptation of the comics, Negan is introduced in Season 6 of the show and remains a major villain for the remainder of the series. He is eventually redeemed by the series' protagonists and is able to find peace in the finale of the show's eleventh season.
Not only that, but AMC is now putting together a more coherent timeline for them, including an order in which they will air. Dead City, the spin-off which follows Negan and Maggie trying to rescue a kidnapped Herschel in Manhattan, will air in June of 2023, after some previous talk that it might air in April instead.
(Negan, however, didn't know Maggie was pregnant at the time.)
